At ADHD Plus Health, Our coaching services are grounded in evidence-based practice, designed to complement clinical mental health support.
ADHD coaching is a practical, goal-oriented intervention designed to help individuals manage the executive function challenges associated with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Unlike traditional therapy, which often explores past emotional roots, ADHD coaching focuses on the "here and now" by co-creating highly structured, personalized systems for time management, organization, emotional regulation, and prioritization.
It acts as a supportive partnership where individuals learn to work with their unique brain chemistry, break down overwhelming tasks into actionable steps, and minimize chronic overwhelm. While it does not replace medical treatments or psychological therapy, ADHD coaching provides the concrete accountability and lifestyle scaffolding needed to turn daily frustrations into consistent, sustainable routines.
Fahima Mahomed leads the coaching division at ADHD Plus, working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, pharmacists and occupational therapists. Her role is to provide evidence-based coaching that complements the wider clinical service, supporting individuals in achieving meaningful and lasting change.
Fahima holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Management and an MSc in the Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health from King’s College London. She has completed further professional training in positive psychology, coaching, CBT-informed approaches, mindfulness and neurodiversity, bringing together research, practical experience and person-centred support.
Alongside her work with ADHD Plus, Fahima has supported individuals across healthcare, employment and criminal justice settings, working with people from diverse backgrounds and often with complex needs. Her experience includes supporting neurodivergent individuals, improving employability, building confidence, strengthening relationships and helping clients achieve meaningful long-term outcomes.
Her coaching style is collaborative, practical and compassionate. She believes every individual has unique strengths and potential, and works alongside each client to develop realistic strategies that improve daily life while respecting their goals, values and circumstances.
Fahima specialises in coaching adults with ADHD and other neurodevelopmental differences. Her approach focuses on helping clients strengthen executive functioning, organisation, emotional regulation, motivation, confidence, time management, relationships and goal achievement.
Every coaching programme is tailored to the individual, recognising that no two people experience neurodiversity in the same way. Coaching provides practical strategies that can be applied in everyday life, at work, in education and within personal relationships. Where appropriate, coaching works alongside assessment, medication and other clinical interventions provided by the wider multidisciplinary team.
Many individuals living with ADHD or other neurodevelopmental differences also experience challenges such as stress, anxiety, low mood, burnout, reduced confidence or significant life changes. Coaching can help people develop healthier coping strategies, build resilience, improve wellbeing and increase independence while working towards personal and professional goals.
Disclaimer – Mental health coaching is not a replacement for psychological therapy or medical treatment and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Where clinical care is required, clients are supported by the appropriate healthcare professionals within the multidisciplinary team.
We offer both one-to-one coaching and group coaching programmes.
Individual coaching provides personalised support, helping clients understand their strengths, overcome barriers and implement practical strategies that create sustainable change.
Group coaching combines education with shared learning, allowing participants to develop new skills, gain practical tools and benefit from the experiences of others in a supportive and structured environment.
Alongside client coaching, Fahima delivers neurodiversity awareness sessions for organisations, schools, healthcare providers and community groups.
These workshops provide practical, evidence-based education on ADHD and other neurodevelopmental differences, helping organisations move beyond awareness towards meaningful inclusion. Sessions explore communication, executive functioning, workplace and educational adjustments, strengths-based approaches and creating environments where neurodivergent individuals can thrive.
