Maya Yamout is a qualified social worker in UK and Lebanon. She is a PhD candidate in Sociology, Criminology, and Social Policy at Swansea University. She has over 15 years of experience in forensic social work, countering violent extremism, prison work, and psychosocial interventions in conflict zones. Maya is Vice President and a board member of Rescue Me, an NGO dedicated to rehabilitation, crime prevention, and trauma-informed care.
